A week or so ago – the actual design you can see (the tribal one) was actually an inked drawing I did in my sketchbook, scanned, inverted, coloured, blurred (etc…

This one had loads of layers! I’m serious! I made one background, thought it looked nice and that I could do more with it, copied it, applied effects to it, and layered it over. Etc etc etc… then I coloured it and combined the layers

This was meant to be for a friend’s T-Shirt design for a birthday gift – it was the back of the shirt. Except it was in white it took fluffing AGES to draw half of the butterfly and flip the damn thing, and it took even longer to put the three designs together! There were three separate ones, this one took the longest
